Dr. Dixon grew up in the Chicago suburbs, and then went to school at the University of Iowa.  He went to seminary after college at Emory University in Atlanta.  Leaving seminary, he went to Saba University, a school in the Dutch Antilles.  After residency in Internal Medicine near Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, Dr. Dixon went down to Wilmington, NC., where he worked in an inner-city clinic, then started his own medical practice.

He came out to the Pacific NW near Seattle around 2019, where he worked for Whidbey Health, and met his current wife.  With his wife Judye (also a physician), 3 dogs, 3 cats, and two teenagers, Ava and Maya, Dr. Dixon joins our practice at Ali’i Health Center.  Of note, his wife had lived in Kona briefly before medical school.

Dr. Dixon is currently board-certified in Internal Medicine, and sees patients from 12 and up.
